Back to School, Back to Summer

We’re seeking teens who are passionate about traveling overseas and contributing to meaningful community service projects that benefit children.

We're currently offering Back to School Service Grants of up to $400 off GLA program tuition to students who enroll by September 30.

Grants are available for select service-learning programs focused on children, from educational support to community development.

Each community has different needs: You might teach English in a rural primary school, read aloud with locals, refurbish classrooms or address numerous other challenges that children face in communities with few resources.

How to Redeem

From the list below, choose the community you’d like to work with next summer and redeem your grant using one of the codes listed below when you enroll in a 2020 GLA program.

Use code BACK2SERVICE21 for $400 off tuition on 21-day programs
Use code BACK2SERVICE14 for $300 off tuition on 14-day programs
Use code BACK2SERVICE10 for $200 off tuition on 10-day programs

Each of these codes also includes a $95 application fee waiver. So you can apply for free too when you redeem this code!

• Guatemala: Children of the Maya™ (14 days)
• Costa Rica: Beachside Service Adventure (10 days)
• Dominican Republic: Caribbean Service Adventure (10 days)
• Costa Rica: Middle School Service Adventure (10 days)

Terms & Conditions

Back to School Service Grants will be awarded only to new applicants who enter the proper code upon enrollment for an eligible Summer 2020 GLA program. Enrollment capacity is limited for each program and Service Grants are available until September 30, 2019 only. Grants may not be combined with other offers or financial aid, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
